Nick is the Managing Director of 4i Solutions which he set up in 2007, previously working for Local Authorities, Housing Associations and a Contractor. Qualifying in 1992 as a Chartered Building Surveyor, Nick has also undertaken Post Graduate studies in Asset Management and benefitted from professional training in facilitation, mentoring, coaching and management development. Nick has extensive experience as both a Partnering Advisor & Facilitator, having delivered in excess of 200 participative workshops covering Decent Homes, responsive repairs, voids, major works, regeneration and development activity. As a Board Member of an ALMO, Nick was allocated specific responsibility for procurement and value for money for their £180m Decent Homes programme and has also been the Chair of both the ALMO's Scrutiny and DLO Committees.
Steve is an experienced Building Surveyor and Management Consultant, he operated at a senior level in local authorities, Registered Social Landlords and the private sector before moving into the world of consultancy. As a founding Director of 4i Solutions, Steve uses his experience to help our Clients and their Partners as a skilled facilitator with project management, procurement and service development and delivery, especially with regard to strategic cost management, open book relationships, contract development and performance management frameworks. Steve’s calm, methodical and inclusive approach is regularly used to good effect, especially during the development, review and mobilisation phases of a project where good facilitation, innovation and strong focused drive are required to develop new relationships and quality services.
James is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), with over 30 years of experience working at senior levels in social housing. Having held board level positions with P&L responsibility for organisations with a range of turnover from £75M to £2.5Billion per annum, James has extensive commercial executive experience. These organisations have included privately run, family owned companies to FTSE 250 listed organisations; experience he uses to provide strategic commercial management for Local Authorities, RSL’s and Contractors including ‘open-book’ audits, review of alternative cost models to improve efficiencies and general commercial advice to organisations in the social housing arena.
Michael has a wealth of experience developed over 30 years of management roles in the private and voluntary sector. Following ten years in the private sector working in marketing and sales, since 1995 he has worked in housing holding a number of senior management positions in home ownership, regeneration, communications and performance management. Most recently he was Director at The Housing Forum an industry body for the housing and construction sector. MBA qualified and with strong strategic management and marketing skills, he is also an experienced speaker, customer services trainer, mentor and facilitator. Michael has a particular interest in developing customer focused leasehold management strategies. He is a trustee of Peabody Community Trust and and a member of Peabody’s Communities Committee.
Robert is a trainer, coach and consultant, who has developed and delivered a number of leading edge management and leadership development programmes, which have included accredited programmes and blended learning, for both the housing and care sectors. Most recently Robert was Director of Learning & Development at Peabody and was responsible for the introduction and use of the Apprenticeship Levy. Robert founded the RSL Race Equality Benchmarking Forum and with De Montfort University launched the Race Equality Toolkit which was in the forefront of diversity activity in education in the UK. Recently Robert was one of the judges at the UK Employee Engagement Awards.
Neil is a strategic leader and service delivery specialist, with over 20 years experience in housing and the commercial sector. Having worked at a senior level with responsibility for significant contracts and budgets, Neil is adept at analytical and transformational process reviews, within property, construction and compliance. Recently, Neil has built teams and developed and delivered strategic and operational plans, that exceed customer and business requirements. As a qualified coach and NLP practitioner, Neil’s open and honest approach, delivers results for businesses, teams and individuals.
Greg has over thirty years’ experience in the not for profit, voluntary and public sectors. He has operated as a director and chief executive of large and complex organisations and is a non-executive director for a housing association. His professional interests include developing organisational culture; he has experience of major new build and refurbishment programmes; and is skilled in commercialising and trading services. Very much a people person, Greg has built upon his first degree by way of a post graduate qualification in Psychology and Psychotherapy. He also has a diploma for Professional Executive Coaches and Leadership Mentors as well as a Diploma in Neuro Linguistic Programming. Greg is certified to conduct personality profiling and psychometric testing and is accredited by and registered with the British Psychological Society.
Steve has worked for both Local Authorities and Housing Associations large and small and has experience across a broad range of areas. Steve’s experience is primarily Housing Management but he has been involved in a range of projects that including, major works (planned and improvement), service improvement projects, new homes, stock transfers and acquisitions, bidding for and managing facilities management projects, day to day repairs and voids, resident engagement, leasehold management and service charges are a few examples. Recently Steve was Interim CE for a small association in SE London, and steered it through a difficult period and is a board member of two small Housing Associations in SE London As a facilitator Steve has worked with 4i Solutions for over three years helping to deliver, workshops, conferences and bespoke training.
Claire has over 15 years’ experience in senior communications and public relations role, including ten with a south-east based housing association. She is as adept at corporate branding and strategic communications as she is at customer engagement and award submissions. She has considerable experience in not-for-profit organisations as an employee, trustee and volunteer; through this she is passionate about good governance. Claire works with 4i Solutions as an Associate, helping facilitate conferences, deliver workshops, design strategic communication plans and generally brings creativity and inclusivity to all she does.
Bob works to support directors and managers in diagnosing the needs for change, setting new strategic objectives and transforming business performance from changes in their organisation and from increased performance from the people in the business. Bob draws on his international experience in senior management and board positions in blue chip companies. Recently, Bob designed and directed a highly successful ILM endorsed blended learning management development programme for a leading RSL. Other consulting assignments include: Development of new business strategy for a multi-national telecoms manufacturer; Designing and delivering world-wide a management development programme for a major automotive engineering group; Designing and directing the production of e-learning for an electrical engineering group; Implementing a management development programme accredited to level 3 for a large local authority; Delivering a blended learning development programme for a large social housing group, including authoring and producing bespoke e-learning.
Craig is a learning and people development expert who has spent over 18 years working in a variety of private and public sector industries, successfully helping thousands of people and many businesses and organisations to develop, improve and get the results they need through learning that works and can be applied in the real world. Through impactful and effective training and development, coaching and consultancy experiences and with a passion for communication of all kinds, Craig uses his exceptional skills as an inspirational and natural developer of people to help and enable people to say, see and do things differently so that they can improve, evolve and become even better at what they do.
Andrew is an experienced ICT Director/CIO with a technical focus and strong drive to collaborate and include all stakeholders in order to deliver business, technological and cultural change. Andrew has a strong track record of reviewing ICT provision in an organisation and providing a commercial solution that has reliable technology with appropriate policies, procedures and working practices. He has also written a strategy on digital inclusion that was adopted as a template by a national digital inclusion forum in 2013 and more recently wrote a pan business digital customer service strategy covering the effects of technology on the customer base and the delivery of customer services in the age of the consumer. Andrew uses his extensive project management experience to deliver high service standards and technological change to businesses, aligning ICT delivery with business need. Andrew has PRINCE2, ITIL Expert and an MBA qualification.
